Well, y’all have asked. For four years, people have asked. And I’ve been really trying to figure out how I can work with people in person. And guess what? I cracked it! This Fall I have planned a nice weekend for all of us. It’s a small group so if this looks good to you or you have questions, get in touch.
I’m super excited.
THE LUCKY DEVIL GETAWAY!!!
It’s got a nice ring to it, right?
You can sign up here.
Here’s the description:
Sometimes we just want everything to stop. Work. Laundry. Demands. Noise. Parking. Outfits. ALL OF IT. So come on out here to join me. It’ll be the absolute height of Fall Foliage in New England. We’ll be hanging out at a sweet place on 95 acres. NO BIG DEAL.
And it’ll be quiet.
Friday you’ll arrive and we will get settled and have some dinner together. Then we’ll meet in the main room and get to know each other a bit. Stretch and do some guided meditation. Then after we leave that room, your blissed out quiet begins.
There will be no strain of social interaction or small talk. No phone or internet. No Facebook. No kids or bosses or lovers or cooking or cleaning or professors or demands. Just you showing up for yourself. Friday evening, through Saturday all day and Sunday’s breakfast, we will be quiet. Not silent, mind you. The Saturday group meetings and workshop will have speaking, but it’ll be particular to your personal experience. Between groups, we greet each other with nods, smiles, and a deep respect for everyone’s process of quiet. Then Sunday, we will break bread together, and talk about our experiences. Then we’ll go on a hike. Lunch, and then you’ll return to your lives, rested, grounded, well-fed in every sense of the phrase.
Our time together will include movement, creative practice, meditation, writing, and eating with talk of our overall health. This is a very general first group experience laying the groundwork for longer Lucky Devil Getaways and inviting all of you to shape this experience as well.
Spirit Fire Retreat Center is an incredible space. The natural surroundings offer you a visual peace that’s difficult to describe. The rooms are comfortable, spotless, doubles or triples and the food is all prepeared on site by Tim and Steve who run the center and are AWESOME. They work with local town farmers and cook their asses off catering to all healthy requests and needs. Most especially the need for food to taste divine. Your views and meals are included.
Space is extremely limited so as to keep the event intimate.
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

*comfortable indoor clothes for meditation, yoga, or lounging.
*slippers or indoor footwear. We are a no-shoes environment.
You do not need to bring:
*linens, towels, pillows, or blankets.
